Peter McCollum announced an extensive BURN IT DOWN TOUR 2024 across the United States, produced by Emporium Presents. Currently on-going, the man just announced a roster of extended dates, hitting the stage in even more cities and venues. The newly-announced show at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey is taking place on October 12th.
"2024 is going to be the biggest and best show we have ever put together," McCollum said. "I can’t wait for all the fans to come see what we are working up. The Burn It Down Tour is going to be absolutely epic."
In 2015, Parker McCollum released his debut album "The Limestone Kid", recorded at Cedar Creek Recording in Austin. The album showcased his unique notes of Texas country and folk rock, letting his talent shine with his vocals, guitars, and harmonica. Singing tales about his life growing up in Limestone Country in Texas, he quickly found an audience that relate to his music. "It's too early to declare The Limestone Kid debut of the year, but it's already one to beat," The Austin Chronicle said in its review of the lad's debut.
That marked his journey in producing some of today's best country hits. In 2021, he released "Gold Chain Cowboy", his third studio LP praised by fans and critics alike. It shares his 3x Platinum hit single "Pretty Heart". The record also featured another crowd-favorite hit single "To Be Loved by You". In 2022, he won New Male Artist of the Year at the American Country Music Awards.
In January 2023, the man released his newest LP "Never Enough", a set of tales that stay true to himself. It features the lead single "Burn It Down", an all-out track that screams of a broken-hearted head space.
"Honestly, that song came out of nowhere. I'm very happily married and have the greatest wife in the world," McCollum shared via Holler. "I think I was just in that broken-hearted space for so many years as I tried to write those songs. There's a little piece of me that stayed there, which means I can always go back when I'm writing and still feel those feelings."
