Fans can look forward to reggae folk and rock fusion as Slightly Stoopid takes the stage at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion. The San Diego, California, natives have continuously made waves with their unique brand of music since dropping their debut effort, Slightly $toopid, in 1996. The band has released several highly acclaimed studio efforts, including their career-defining album, Closer to the Sun, which topped Billboard's Heatseekers chart in 2005. Two years later, Slightly Stoopid was officially unstoppable as their fifth album, Chronchitis, entered eight Billboard charts, including peaking at number 2 on the Independent Albums. This summer, fans can look forward to their career-spanning hits, including songs from their latest album, Everyday Life, Everyday People - which was their first album to go number 1 on the Reggae charts.
Fellow reggae icons, Dirty Heads are known to mix a plethora of genres into their mix, including hip-hop, alternative rock, and ska. Also from California, the six-member outfit is popularly known for their unprecedented hits like “Vacation,” “Oxygen,” “Lay Me Down,” “Stand Tall,” and many more.
