2024 Year in review! Freedom Mortgage Pavilion 2024 highlights!
What a magnificent year it has been! Spring, summer and fall at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion were packed with some of the biggest names in the circuit! There were heavy hitters in country music, top charting rappers, pop superstars, monumental legends! Moreover, touring powerhouses that bring in a heck ton of fans also graced this remarkable venue! State of the art productions and top quality entertainment were in store for music fans in Camden, New Jersey! That’s why fans gather year round in this stunning venue and these are not just local music fanatics, but visitors from far and wide! Yes, Freedom Mortgage Pavilion is a hot spot for all things awesome not just for people of New Jersey, but for everyone! If you’re looking to visit this fantastic space, here’s a list of 2024’s hottest shows, just a reference on how banging it is each year at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion!
May
Concert season started as early as May. It may seem Unreal, but yes Hozier was in town that time to deliver his monumental outing with Allison Russell. The “Take Me To Church” star was more than remarkable, it was pure bliss for all his adoring fans that night. Of course, the evening was filled with his stunning soulful vocals, emotive lyrics, and insane balladry. The musician that he is, Hozier, is unprecedented. In the same month, rock and roll legend Neil Young conquered the venue with his astounding back up band Crazy Horse. The Love Earth Tour bring these phenoms together. It was more than a grand reunion enjoyed by the performers, but also the fans were treated to a raging run of shows by the former Buffalo Springfield singer. Lucky New Jersey was part of this riveting run and boy did fans get to rock out to a plethora of folk rock staples that night.
June
Speaking of rock legends, June was packed with them. First off, John Fogerty came into the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion to deliver a massive setlist – consisting mostly of Creedence Clearwater Revival hits. The Celebration summer tour also brought in prog icon George Thorogood and the Destroyers, along with Harty Har. If groundbreaking rock is your thing, there’s no one more earth shattering than Santana. The Latin rock outfit sure knew how to deliver a good time and by that we mean everyone had a massive blast. The Oneness 2024 Tour also featured co-headliners Counting Crows, 90s rock phenoms who busted out brilliant titles like “Anna Begins,” “Big Yellow Taxi,” “Mr. Jones,” “Holiday in Spain,” and tons more.
If the month was filled with rockers, country singers also came out to play. Hardy brought in his A game for the Quit!! Tour and he brought along some might entertainingn special guests Kip Moore, Travis Denning, and Ella Langley. Meanwhile, Chris Stapleton’s All American Road Show went on a fantastic trip into town with his thrilling support from Marcus King and Nikki Lane. Lastly, 2024’s biggest country trek was headlined by the one and only Lainey Wilson. The country vixen brought the Country’s Cool Again Tour with her guest Ian Munsick and Zach Top.

July
If you think June was awesome, wait til you find out how amazing the month of July was for fans at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion. The line up was incredibly diverse to say the least. There were kid’s pop concert, film and concert experience, something for those who love oldies but goodies, and a jam band extravaganza. July had all the concert loving peeps flocking to the venue. Kidz Bop Live turned up the big stage and delivered the most fun, coloful, and dynamic pop concert. With your conventional Billboard Hot 100 songs rewritten for kids and sung by kids, it was certainly a super fun showdown fr the whole family.
If film and concerts are you thing, well Barbie the Movie in Concert wa surely an exhilarating night of magnificent tunes and top visual experience. Fans got to see the film once again but this time, it’s a live action film coming to life with a grand orchestra. This spectacle awoke the audience’s all five senses that’s for sure.
At hunderous pop rock rager took over the moment Imagine Dragons hit the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion with their Loom World Tour. The ground literally shook as the Diamond selling outfit belted out gargantuan titles like “Radioactive,” “Believer,” “Bones,” “Enemy,” and many more. Well, we can’t really mentioned that month of July without acknowledging the arrival of Dave Matthews Band’s three-night extravaganza. The monster rock band was in town and each night was a jaw dropping blast complete with crowd pleasing jams, fantastic on stage improvisations, and more. They don’t call this band a monster touring machine for nothing! Speaking of monster touring machines, the highly anticipated Fourth of July Picnic was also in town to wreak some havoc on Independence Day. Outlaw king Willie Nelson brought a legendary line-up comprising fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Bob Dylan and Robert Plant, along with bluegrass sensation Allison Kraus and country vixen Maren Morris.

August
Summer was knockin some heads with kick ass perfomers. In this case, it was the uber kings of metal Slipknot. The band was in town as part of their 25th anniversary tour and the venue was packed with hard hitting black clad metal heads all waiting to get a piece of “Psychosocial” pie. A legend in their own right, Slipknot definitely turned this venue upside down with their adrenaline rushing set.
Country superstars Dierks Bentley and Jason Aldean brought some earth shattering of their own. Dierks Bentley was in town for his Gravel and Gold Tour along with guests Chace Rice and Randy Rogers. Meanwhile, Jason Aldean was totally unbothered because he’s got tens of thousands of fans behind him all singing along to his monumental hits, including his latest smasher, “Try That in a Small Town.” Aldean’s Highway Desperado Tour was packed with a star studded line up with Dee Jay Silver and Elvie Shane.
September
Non-binary singer Kehlani showed audiences why they are the phenomenon you never knew you needed. The illustrious R&B and pop soul icon literally “Crash” the audience with magnificent hits from their hot new album. Fresh out the studio and into the big road – Kehlani was definitely raging with passion, drive, and determination. They also showcased incredible on stage stamina and charisma.
Meawhile, The Freaks on Parade were also in town for a legendary debauchery. Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper delivered jaw dropping theatrics and superb rock and metal music. Corpses paint was optional but headbang was definitely a must. So that night, the crowd went into a monumental frency and banged their heads til their necks broke. For those with a taste in a more serious version of heavy metal, Korn and Gojira were in town for a mindblowing showdown unlike anything you have ever seen. These two groundbreaking performers didn’t spare anyone – they busted out their biggest smashing hits and spared none from their astounding catalogs.
October
Only crowd stirring country music can end the summer season with a massive explosion and this is exactly what Parker McCollum delivered. The country music prince showed just why he’s the next big thing in country. The top tier performer delivered gargantuan hits like “Pretty Heart,” “To Be Loved By You,” “Burn It Down,” and tons more. Making the concert season go out with a bang, Parker McCollum definitely brought some heat and it was piping hot. Chayce Beckham and Kylie Morgan tuned up the big stage and hype up the crowd with their smashing hits.
There you have it. A grand smashing line-up featuring the heavyweights in music. Freedom Mortgage Pavilion was definitely the msot iconic destination for concerts and festivals.
