New Zealand-born Australian Keith Urban is a country music singer, songwriter, guitarist, entrepreneur, and music competition judge. The band released one studio album on Capitol Nashville and charted two singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart before disbanding in 1998. Urban released his (once again eponymous) American debut album in 1999, which went on to receive platinum certification and produced his first number one single. Urban has released a total of nine solo studio albums, charting 37 singles on the US Hot Country Songs, 18 of which went to number one. His single “Somebody Like You” was named by Billboard as the biggest country hit of the 2000s decade, and Urban has won four Grammy Awards for Best Male Country Vocal Performance.
